Once again the Oxford Brooks academic team led by Dr Mark Poolman with Dr David Fell, Dr Trunil Desai and Prof Cristiana Sebu (University of Malta) delivered a comprehensive and valuable workshop to members of the CarbonRecyling Network. The workshop took place over an entire week at Nottingham and as one of the attendees wrote:
“Attending the metabolic modelling workshop was an incredibly enriching experience. Mark, the main instructor, was very informative and experienced, providing deep insights into the subject matter. The other instructors, Cristiana, Trunil, and David, were all great and contributed significantly to the learning experience.
One of the highlights for me was networking through sharing meals with other participants. This informal setting allowed us to help each other with various bits and bobs—if someone couldn’t complete a step, others were always ready to assist. This collaborative environment helped me make many connections and learn a lot, which I can apply in the future.
Overall, the workshop was highly beneficial, and I am excited to continue developing my skills and implementing what I have learned.“
